I believe it's time for a change.
Personally I'm over it.
I believe we Word of Faith people should ask to take part in the Charismatic's fourm.
Either this or clean this house up.
It's called lead follow or get out of the way.
I propose to have a temporary close of other denomations here and vote on membership here as well.
The close out of other Faith groups would be so that we have a chance to sort things out in open fourm,
Without others imput.
We are Charismatic in origin and movement in some beliefs.
If I'm to be criticised I would rather it be a like believer, rather than someone who worships another God than I do.
For what it's worth.

"Seems some people think they are above the scripture. But there are rules, even here at Christian Forums, and we all need to abide by them or the peaceable assembly of our brothers is forced apart. We lose very good people and their input into our lives -- which in this day and age we can not afford to lose.

For this WoF forum, this means that non-WoF believers cannot teach or debate here. Yet they come. They can fellowship; they can ask questions; they can ask for clarification. They can't teach; they can't debate; they can't teach their own interpretations (no matter how orthodox or otherwise) if they differ from Word of Faith. These are the rules. Biblically we are to obey the authority that set those rules in place.

This brings up fuzzy ground. Not all WoF believe exactly alike. So a wolf can come in, bearing a WoF icon, and seem like they disagree on one or two items. A WoF believer can come in, bearing a WoF icon, and disagree on one or two items. We need patience to tell them apart.

But when it becomes clear that one is not WoF, it is up to us to report the post. Don't feel you are disparaging a brother (for they are brothers, just of a different denom), for by ignoring for the sake of the one there are many other WoF brothers and sisters who are affected. Stand up for the rules and regulations. Uphold the authority in the forums and keep them running according to the rules." Be bold. Even Jesus had to cleanse the temple...."

"The Word of Faith shield emblem that (I use below) was chosen years ago to be used by all WOF members. I don't think the creator of this emblem (probinson 6/18/06) would mind even today for it's original purpose of use. A few days after the emblem was made, it was voted and chosen (by our forum members) just for that. I have used it in honor of (probinson) who created it and suggest it's still open for all to use if desired. Who knows, many former members "just" may come back."

Well Sir, I have been directed to report any posters who are doing this. I guess when two men are in the gutter no one is clean.

That's funny if your talking about my stupid "duplicates" in Post 3 and 4 and yesterday morning I either went to "Questions About CF" or "chat with staff" and posted if they would remove those two posts in which they did today. As far as the gutter... remove the debris plugging the hole and were both swimming (downward) in muck. But, you know what? He's pulled us out of the muck and miry clay (before), and He will put us back (again)... on the rock to stay.

When it comes to the Terms of Service and the Vision of this forum with the (necessary) rules and regulations... I have re-read the Flaming, Goading, and Harassment areas along with the rest of the Terms of Service... only to conclude that by the studying and researching of hundred(s) of this WOF forum posts going back to its beginning, (2004)... to (getting to know members) and continuing to do so since I've been here as a Word of Faith member. After reviewing this WOF forum from it's beginnings that took (four months) of daily, sometimes hourly researching various topics and (getting to know) the membership.... then, I decided to join later in 2012. So with my continuing research that still goes on today, I conclude the following...

Pertaining to the Christian Forum Rules....

"Is there anyone from the (top... down) on this forum who is "not guilty" in some form, or fashion, or another... in violating one, or more of said rules"? Who hasn't in some way (slightly) insulted, belittled, mocked, ridiculed, or made (just a little) offensive derogatory remarks, and... or used (just slight) egregious inflammatory comments of, or... about someone else at one time or another on this forum. If were all honest, I think we know the answer. I am definitely one of the (first in line) to acknowledge my short falls in (not so perfect) posting on this forum, and with that said... Instead of adding fuel to any fires that start up here, I believe it's best to simply report them... as suggested by the staff members."

Just my thoughts...

I read through the charismatic (non word of faith) and charismatic statements of purpose. I can see where it is confusing. Many see the "word of faith" concept as negative, as we are seen as too extreme. This does not bother me though I think many have the wrong perception of word of faith in general, plus there are some doctrinal differences within word of faith churches.

While I like the statement of purpose here, I imagine there are some areas where I might not live up to expectations. Still , I prefer correction and encouragement from like-minded believers, thus why I will generally only post questions in this forum, though I am accepting of sincere, alternative viewpoints. IF we could keep the same statement of purpose and move under charismatic that would seem fine, but they may not accept that.

We created the WoF forum so we could escape the continual harassment endured in the Charismatic forum. There was a dedicated group who seemed to do nothing but attack WoF believers and leaders. I was a moderator at the time. Shortly after that the said group demanded and received a subforum that was literally a "safe place to attack WoF." The only forum dedicated to the war on WoF. Posters could go there and say anything they wanted against WoF and WoF members and WoF could not respond in any way. That forum has since been shut down and rightly so.
We do need a safe place. And any attack on WoF or it's members need to be enforced.

Hello Dids, I feel as if everywhere we turn today the tormentors are on the attack.
But our commision is to love one another.
As Christ said a kingdom divided cannot stand.
If together all of us can keep in God's will and love, there are many good things that could come from unity and fellowship of like believers.
If we can lead the way in visation and fellowship, maybe others who are divided in their own doctrines will follow Christ and forgo the bitterness and strife.
We as Christians have much bigger hindrances of this World to be aware of.
I understand the need for our home Fourm, my hopes would be for us to address a wider range of problems at home.
We have the best apologetics expert around right here.
And there are great Christians in the Charismatic forums that can share their knowlage as well.
There will always be haters , but I do not believe they are with either of us.

It's rare today to see Churches have joint fellowship, even of the same denomation.
Some Pastors see the Church on the next block over as their enemy.
We only have one enemy, and He has been defeated long ago.
There are big differences between denomations, but I believe our differences with the Charismatic people are not deal breakers.
We are Charismatic as well.
I'm not promoting a shut down or a loss of identity, I am promoting kindness and fellowship together.
You simply cannot have to many prayer partners.
