"Some believe that the dead have a conscious spirit/physical existence in Sheol/Hades as in the story of The Rich Man and Lazarus. I think that is a parable meant to be symbolic and not physical."

I would be inclined to say the language in that parable is figurative, rather than symbolic, but without denying that it refers to a place and state of the departed.

Well maybe not exactly like living conscious people, but I don't think they are necessarily outside of time. But honestly I don't know for sure.

CS Lewis speculated that time for the redeemed departed maybe would not be strictly linear, but might have more "breadth" so to speak. Its in his book Prayer: Letters to Malcolm. His thoughts on it are not revelation, just speculation. I don't have the book to hand at the moment to give a quote.

The soul is in HELL !!

The SPIRIT goes back to God that gave it , Ecc 12:7 !!

And the BODY goes to the Grave /


But a believers body goes the grave !!

So where does the SPIRIT go ??

Also notice that there NO PURGUATORY here at all !!

Read 2 Cor 12;1-4 !!

I wonder if the fact that Christ's work has been finished from the creation of the world (Hebrews 4:3) has already been taken into consideration while pondering all this. In my opinion this fact points to immediacy.

First I see that I Thess 4:16 and Rev 12:48 , COLLIDE , because 1 Thess 4 :16 is written to the Body of Christ

and Rev 12:48 is written to Israel !!

In Luke 16:20 , we see Lazarus with Abraham !

Then we the rich man in verse 22 , died and was BURIED .

# 1 So we three acts here , he DIED !

# 2 THE rich man BODY was BURIED !

# 3 So what happened to his spirit ??

In the believer ,when he dies , the BODY is BURIED !!

The spirit is SAVED , so where does his spirit go ??

And where his soul GO ?

His souls goes to heaven.

Today all SAVED BY GRACE go the Third Heaven , called PARADISE , as 2 COR 12:1-4 because there has to be a

RESURRECTION , as written in 1 Thess 4:17 , or as written i 2 Thess 2:3 except the APOSTASIA // means the DEPARTURE

SHOULD COME FIRST , and the man of sin should come
