Well, with MSNBC, you have Maddow & Mika giving you the news, and CNN's evening roster is gayer than a San Fran hairdresser singing karaoke showtunes dressed as the biker from YMCA in a Hollywood bathhouse.

If FOX didn't bring the eye candy, no one would watch the news.

Read my keystrokes. I don’t care what cable news says about anything. That includes CNN, FoxBabe News ..... clean your monitor so you can improve your understanding.

I am not understanding the "Fox Babe News".
It goes back to the beginning of the network. I had some buds in local media and they joked that Fox News earned the name for the hot blondes that seemed ever present, including local Fox affiliates.

What planet are you from?. I rarely watch CNN. In fact I see way more FoxBabe News because I live in the Red zone south and most public waiting areas have it on the TV. It supplanted the Weather Channel.

Capiche?

Sounding a bit unhinged there buddy.

You okay?
It is true. The media is supposed to be objective and honest so that politicians can be held accountable to the American people. CNN and other fake news networks has caused great damage to our democracy by feeding lie after lie to millions of people to manipulate for their own agenda. They are a threat to American Democracy because they have completely thrown away their credibility as a news network and are now incapable of holding the government accountable.

Weird, that's exactly how I would describe Fox News.

But I wouldn't call them the "enemy of the people".
Reminds me too much of this: Lying press - Wikipedia

According to whom?

I do not find your claims credible.

They are a threat to American Democracy because they have completely thrown away their credibility as a news network and are now incapable of holding the government accountable.

The founding fathers would disagree. Likely why they enshrined the rights of the press in the constitution. They only business to receive such protection.

Doubtful. They guaranteed freedom of the press in the Bill of Rights. That hardly means they would judge a news network that spews propaganda credible, or capable of holding the government accountable.
Likely why they enshrined the rights of the press in the constitution. They only business to receive such protection.
To be more specific, an amendment to the constitution, the first amendment.

Have you read about the press in the time of the founding fathers?

To be more specific, an amendment to the constitution, the first amendment.

Yes, well done.

The power of the press is only as great as how credible they are perceived. Otherwise, they are merely tabloids. Even if CNN or MSNBC reported the president committed a crime, over half the country would disregard/ignore it as more fake news tabloids.

The percentage apparently would be higher.
Poll: 72 percent say traditional outlets 'report news they know to be fake, false, or purposely misleading'| The Hill

The poll of nearly 4,000 adults shows that 92 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents "say that traditional news outlets knowingly report false or misleading stories at least sometimes," a finding in line with other recent polls conducted by Pew Research and Gallup.

It found the sentiment extends to those who identify as independents and Democrats, with 79 percent of independents also saying traditional outlets knowingly report false or misleading stories at least sometimes. Democrats agree by a slight majority of 53 percent.

The poll also found that almost two-thirds of those polled say fake news "is usually reported because people have an agenda."

Then you are complaining about a non issue if they have no power.
