Just for posterity:

Wednesday night Trump declared that Obama and Clinton founders and MVP's of ISIS.

On Thursday morning, during an interview with conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt, Trump declared that he did not mean that figuratively, or rhetorically, but did indeed believe that Obama and Clinton were the literal founders of ISIS.

Less than 30 hours after his initial comments, and less than 24 hours after his "clarification", on his Twitter account, Trump mocks CNN for reporting what he said, and claimed that when he said Obama and Clinton were founders and MVP's of ISIS, he was being sarcastic.

An increasing number of Republicans are trying to dump Mega Mouth. They are fearful of being slaughtered in Congressional, as well as the Presidential election. I suppose they might have given up on the latter:

Funny how his supporters give him credit for "saying what he means" yet then are completely willing to excuse what he says because he obviously didn't mean it.

Trump softened the tone of previous comments on a number of things, including his description of NATO as “obsolete” and filled with members who don’t pay their fair share for U.S. “protection.” He said the United States would work closely with NATO on counterterrorism, and he congratulated the alliance for establishing a new division to handle the threat “since my comments.”

NATO first committed to increased counterterrorism activities at its summit in Wales in 2012.

Trump names Breitbart chairman as CEO of his campaign.

It was Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields who was manhandled at a Trump event by former Trump campaign manager Lewandoski. Fields did not feel supported by Breitbart management, and she and others resigned.

By March 14 several top executives and journalists at Breitbart had resigned complaining that "...Breitbart’s unabashed embrace of Mr. Trump, particularly at the seeming expense of its own reporter, struck them as a betrayal of its mission."

DONALD TRUMP TESTS POSITIVE FOR EVERYTHING, ACCORDING TO HIS OWN DOCTOR

However, the plan has backfired somewhat, for a couple of reasons:

1) the letter does not read like it was written by a medical professional
2) the letter is dated Dec 4th 2015, but the supposed author, Dr Jacob Bernstein, died in 2010
