  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Some of it is being known by who your enemies are.

The status of our nation was given to us by Hillary and her democrats, and all those wealthy republicans, and republicans in office today.

In other words, Trump is what he is, but is not responsible for Libya, Syria, Iraq, Russian relations nor the nations finances, nor the state of entitlements, nor....well, you get the idea. That albatross is right on Hillary and her husbands neck, in this election.

So as I see Democrats, Republicans, and most of the media going bonkers over Trump, I still remember it was all these same jackwagons that put us in the state we are in.

If this is how you want it, vote for Hillary, I'm sure it will go well.

What Trump will do is anyone's guess, I don't even think he knows.

Getting more of the same with Hillary is starting to look pretty nice compared to what could happen with Trump.

But BEST case scenario? Republicans (or Trump himself) take Trump off the ticket and a more accessible, smarter, not insane candidate takes over. Polls indicate Hillary is going to lose. Sanders decides to run; then see what happens?

Now THAT would be politically interesting instead of this trainwreck of human interactions that is Trump, in the media.

This is the same poor logic we keep seeing from Trump supporters.

Since the professionals did not do as good of a job as some would have wanted, let's toss out the baby with the bathwater and elect a person is has no idea what he is doing.....

Trump is not responsible for international affairs because Trump was not involved in international affairs. All we have is what Trump has done in HIS affairs....multiple bankruptcies, swindling people with a fake University, not paying contractors....

We know what Trump is.

Its just not going to happen.

So you are stuck with Hillary. Hope it works out well for you.

Very poor retort. Oh well, you are new to this.

A poor one for your poor argument.

What you cannot address is Hillary's failures while in office. Now she seeks the highest office, after her abysmal foreign policy failures, her casual disregard for the nations secrets, etc.

She is the devil you know.

But keep on defending her, I expect no less from a liberal.

What you don't get is this is a thread on Trump. I made no mention of Clinton in this thread.

Please stop with your attempted derail, or move along and start your own Clinton bash thread.

Trump refuses to endorse Paul Ryan in his re-election bid. Or John McCain.

...that's probably actually a good thing for Paul Ryan and John McCain lol.

The fact that he refuses to endorse them means they're far more reasonable men than he is.

This should've been such a slam dunk election cycle for the GOP...honestly. Given the 2 incidents involving the Democratic candidate, any (even semi-)reasonable GOP candidate should've been able to win this one.

For example, a John McCain/Paul Ryan ticket could've won this thing...
A Jeb/Rubio ticket could've won this thing...
A Kasich/Cruz could've won...

...nope, instead, they go with the one guy who's apparently doing everything in his power to try to lose the election

Don't think so pal. The thread doesn't say "Trump bashing only"

And it includes a link about backing Hillary, your gal.

By all means, bash away at Trump. Its not as if I support him.

I just haven't drank the kool aid on this unfit woman.

With a link about supporting Hillary.

I didn't know you guys were so sensitive.
That link is much more about not supporting Trump than it is about supporting Hillary.

Why not start a 'Today in Hillary' thread?

LOL

Apparently only we get that....

She mistakenly believes that since the OP said "Hillary", that it opened the door to discuss Hillary. If she actually read the article, she would have known it was more about people leaving Trump's corner because he is a buffoon....

What Trump will do is anyone's guess, I don't even think he knows.

We know what he says, but, if he thinks he can put it into practice, he must be even more of a dead brain than everybody is coming to the conclusion that he must be.

It will certainly work out much better than if Trump gets in. The last thing we need is someone willing to use racism and bigotry to get elected.

Today, to restore the enthusiasm of the base, he stated that voter ID laws are required. You know, the same laws that are getting struck down because they are racist. Yeah, those are the laws that Trump decides to advocate for when he wants to energize the base. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if he is trolling his followers, trying to make them look bad.

If Hillary supporters think: "It will certainly work out much better than if Trump gets in."

They would need to show it. Not buying what they are selling.
