  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Love Toby! He's rough around the edges, but one of the few who has been married a very long time; a hard worker. I like his deep voice, the humour in his songs. There is something very real and earthy about him. Love the American Soldier video; very powerful.

I can't stand Toby Keith... I like a few of his older songs but when he started gettin' all over-patriotic it made me nauseous (sp?). Don't get me wrong, I'm a U.S. Army vet and I love this country and support the troops, but he sings so much about the dang troops, why doesn't he join if he's so infatuated with it? And what's up with this ghetto-fab country style? Check out his latest CD cover picture if you don't know what I'm talking about. Puh-leaze!

I thoroughly despise him, and have pretty consistently boycotted him since he messed with my beloved girls, the DXC -- I even turn the dial when he's on the radio or on TV. But I used to like to listen to "I wanna talk about me", just because I was amused at how much it shocked me. I too was offended by his objectification women in shows and videos.

Well I love him, I'm southern and I think that he gives his fans alot to smile about but still reminds us of what we have to smile about and where it came from and who gave it to us.

He's so funny and so serious too. And well, (takes in a deep breathe) hes pretty.
