so Hobby Lobby was having a half off wedding stuff sale and I bought 2 head pieces to see which would look right for my dress. With intentions of buying a "nicer" version later on..... but i'm impressed with the quaility of these ....anyways. One is a tiara and the other is a twisted pearl and rinestone headband. I never figured myself a tiara girl, and mostly I think they look silly on women and "pagenty", but this one is really very dainty and looks more like a headband than a big ole larger than your whole head look at me i think i'm a princess tiara. so now I'm trying to decide. I could wear the tiara for the ceremony and the headband for the reception and i don't even know if i am going to wear my hair up or not. What is everyone else doing or have done? I guess when I find someone to do my hair: i'll take both and see how they both look with up and down styles.

I had a big one - I don't think I had wanted one originally but I obviously changed my mind :D

Your tiara looks gorgeous Melissa, you pull it off so well! Does your tiara look similar to hers Mina?
I've decided against a tiara, just because my wedding dress is a princess dress (strapless with tulle) and so I don't want to look too much like a 'princess ballerina', especially 'cause i'm a young bride.
I do love brides in tiaras though, so i'm sure your gonna look lovely Mina :).

thanks Rebekka,
To me, a headband lays flat on your head and a tiara is more peaked.
Oh, I didn't know that.

Over here neither are worn much. I was bareheaded when we got married; I wanted to wear flowers in my hair but my husband didn't like that.

I was going to do a tiara, but decided not to because I couldn't find one that didn't look like a prom queen would wear. I didn't do a headband either because my dress was too formal for a headband, so I found a cute clip and did this:

My dress was strapless, btw..I've been told by a few people that I look topless :sorry:
