On the premise of the New is the Old revealed ... Where did Paul see in scripture the five ministry gifts for the perfecting of the saints?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It was given by revelation of the Holy Spirit to the apostles. It is also Joel 2 as quoted by Peter in his Pentecost sermon.

Though on the day of Pentecost Peter did not understand to the full extent of what God had done, he was given scripture to base this truth on.
Where did Paul get the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher as an office that is held by some from?
It is said of the Jews in the synagogue of Berea that they searched the scriptures daily to see if what they were saying was so.
I could daisy pick my way through scripture for these and find them, according to the definition of the words, and the symbolism of them in situation's, but not in the order that he laid them out.
The correlation with the five natural gifts of our senses, that give us a husband that is not our own is evident in those who trust them to do this. You then have a mixture of both of these as it relates to the individuals perception of themselves, the one of their fives senses blended with the one given by these five fold gifts, which brings one as far as the edge of the Jordan as to see it, but cannot cause you to enter into the promise, let alone remain.
The time frame for these equate to the wilderness which lends itself to the feast of Pentecost (knowledge) outside of the year of jubilee where the land (our soul) experiences a rest, and is the acceptable year.
