To Be Like Noah...
Why do we still believe the media and politicians. Scripture tells us that the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God for they are spiritually discerned.
I am not here to condemn nor to contradict, but this reminds me of a conversation I had with God yesterday....
Lord, why am I here? What is my purpose?
I thought about Noah. I wondered what his life must have been like.
I really meditated on it, to be Noah.
Mocked and ridiculed on a daily basis, but he kept preaching, he kept building. 120 years.
He knew something, the rest of the world didn't.
Something was coming.
He didn't know when, until seven days prior. But he just kept on building.
He must have looked like a fool.
What could a man possibly know, I mean what kind of vision did this man have?
To make him work so relentlessly in the face of so much opposition.
There's more to this story than meets the eye. I think this story is not as simple as it sounds.
Noah, was seperated.
From everything and everyone.
The whole world was going south, and old lonely Noah, was the only one going North.
A gazingstock, yes, a laughing stock for sure.
This makes me think, I mean, it really makes me wonder.
How easy it is for the people of God to mingle with the world, with socialism, with politics.
There's almost no clear distinction. Such a mixing and a mingling with a world.
The world still has such a great influence over us.
But Noah, was perfect and upright in his generation, be it physical, mental or spiritual.
There was something much different about him in comparison to his counterparts.
Who did he depend on for his facts? It most definitely could not have been the world.
No, he got his information from a much greater, a much higher source.
It had to be a profound knowledge and a supremely profound sense of knowing he had, to make him react the way that he did.
A knowledge that seperated him in the most profound way and made him completely and totally different than everyone around him, without exception.
Why do I say these things?
Because I believe the Lord Jesus wants me to. And, because I don't believe I thought on these things just for my own benefit.
Just food for thought, given in much love through Christ Jesus.
