Tit 3:1 KJV Put them (Christians) in mind to be subject to principalities (state ruled by a prince Eph 6:12 Col 1:16 Col 2:15) and powers (capacity or ability to influence behavior), to obey magistrates (civil officer Rom 8:38 Eph 3:10 1Pet 3:22), to be ready to every good work,

Righteous Obedience to Civil Officers

1. Isa 43:25-26 I (God Gen 1:1 Exo 6:3 Isa 9:6), even I, am he that blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and will not remember your sins. Isa 43:26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare you, that you may be justified.
2. 1Ti 4:6-8 If you (servant leadership) put the (Christian) brethren in remembrance of these things, you shall be a good minister of Jesus (the) Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto you have attained. 1Ti 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself rather unto godliness. 1Ti 4:8 For bodily exercise profits little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
3. 2Pe 1:12 Wherefore I (Paul) will not be negligent to put you (Christians) always in remembrance of these things, though you (Christians) know them, and be established in the present truth.

Tit 3:2 KJV (1) To speak evil of no man, (2) to be no brawlers, (3) but gentle, (4) showing all meekness unto all men.

• Ecc 10:20 Curse not the king, no not in your thought; and curse not the rich in your bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which has wings shall tell the matter.
• 1Pe 4:4 Wherein they (rejectors) think it strange that you (Christians) run not with them (rejectors) to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you (Christians):

Kindness and Love Toward Christians

1. Rom 5:19-21 For as by one man's (Adam) disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one (Jesus) shall many be made righteous. Christians saved through the Mercy of God

1. Psa 62:12 Also unto you, O Lord, belongs mercy: for you render to every man according to his work.

• Rom 9:15 For he (God) says to Moses, I will have mercy on whom (Saints) I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
• Rom 9:21 Has not the potter (God) power over the clay (humanity), of the same lump (person) to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?

1. Luk 1:50 And his mercy is on them (Saints) that fear him from generation to generation.
2. 1Pe 2:10 Which in time past were not a people (Gentiles), but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

The Washing of Regeneration Rom 3:20-31, 11:6 {Rom 9:11})

1. Joh 3:3-5 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you (Nicodemus), except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Act 18:25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spoke and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. Act 18:26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

1. Mat 3:11 I (John the Baptist) indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he (Jesus) that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Tit 3:7 KJV That (Christians) being justified by his (God) grace, we (Christians) should be made heirs according to the hope (Rev 1:18) of eternal life.
Justified by Grace

1. Rom 3:24 (Christians) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

• 1Pe 1:18-19 Forasmuch as you know that you (Christians) were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 1Pe 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
• Mat 26:15 And said unto them, what will you (chief priests) give me (Judas), and I will deliver him (Jesus) unto you? And they (chief priests) covenanted with him (Judas) for thirty pieces of silver.
• Jer 6:30 Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD has rejected them.

1. Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus (the) Christ, even we (Christians) have believed in Jesus (the) Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Christians are Heirs of God

1. Rom 8:15 For you (Christians) have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself bear witness with our (Christians) spirit, that we are the children of God: Rom 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
2. Gal 4:5-7 To redeem them that were under the law, that we (Christians) might receive the adoption of sons. Gal 4:6 And because you (Christians) are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Gal 4:7 Wherefore you (Christians) are no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
3. Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
4. Tit 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
5. Tit 2:13-14 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our (Christians) Savior Jesus (the) Christ; Tit 2:14 Who (Jesus) gave himself for us (Christians), that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself (Jesus) a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
