  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The next best movie to be coming out. Just watch the trailer. Looks absolutley amazing.

As someone who appreciates convoluted and well-made films, this looks like it may be a gem amidst a sea of mediocrity. Thank God, because these summer months (aside from Cowboys & Aliens which was suprisingly solid) have been extremeley dreadful.

Not to mention the top-notch cast lead by Gary Oldman at the front.

The cast seems extremely solid. I like the old-school spy thriller feel. Just looked up the novel on Amazon, and it seems to get good reviews. Plus, the director is the guy who directed Let The Right One In, which had some really well-directed scenes.

(Yeah, this Summer didn't have too many great movies. But I actually liked the comic book films to come out, like X-Men: First Class and Thor.)

Yeah, those were pretty good and entertaining too, but Captain America and Green Lantern were pretty bad.

Especially Green Lantern.
