Hey, I just wanted to share a quick experience as a reminder towards trusting God.
I've been really stressing the past few days. God's giving me many opportunities so I can head towards my career, but the past few months I've felt like I haven't been doing enough in the department I was working with. I've been working, but I felt distant since I've been extremely busy. Well, I had a little freak out yesterday because I wasn't sure if it was His plan for me, maybe I was on the wrong path since I wasn't getting opportunities like I did in the beginning of the year.
Well, last night I was like, why am I worrying? I need to stop. God has everything under control. I need to stop trying to force my plan to work, and just sit back and trust God will show me the steps I need to take and give me the opprotunities I need. He's got it all under control, so I said, "I'm going to let this go, and let you handle it." I was tired of being unsure, but I decided to find comfort in knowing that He was sure. So, I gave all the worries, pressure, etc to Him. Even if I felt I wasn't on the right path or doing something right, it was okay because He has it all under control.
So, went to sleep and today I got a text from a connection I haven't talked to in a while, and it was a huge opportunity. It was as if God said, "See! Nothing to worry about! If you trust Me, everything will work out fine, and I'll show you have nothing to worry about. I've got everything under control!"
By giving me this opportunity, He did show that, and also showed this career was still the path He wants me to follow.
It's so nice to know I don't have to stress or fear. Such care-free living when you trust God has everything under control. The best results in your life are usually when you just let go and trust Him anyways.
So, just a reminder. Don't let life overwhelm you. If you're not sure about your career or the way your life's heading... don't freak yourself out or put that pressure on you to make life work. Just step back, take a breath, and trust God. When that worry is out of the way, God will show you truly did have nothing to worry about.
