Time remaining

Hello to all my brothers and sisters who are in Christ or seeking Him. I would like to learn Hebrew and Greek and read the original Scriptures which are in these languages, but I do not know how much time is left before the end times prophecies will be fulfilled. We are most definitely in the end times, but I am not sure chronologically how far along we are in the Book of Revelations. Do I have a year to a year and six months to learn Hebrew and Greek and read the original Scriptures or am I better off reading the King James Authorized Version of the Bible?

'Tis Yhwh Who scheduled all the days of our lives before ever creating the world,
that
He is the One to ask to start with.
(not just these questions, but all questions)

The times or days of our lives is not known to anybody else, is it ?

I would just add, that while I agree that collectively we are indeed in the last days, it might be better to think of ourselves individually as always living each day as our last because "time and chance happen to them all" (NIV).

So, seize the day, as they say.

Look up the Interlinear Bible (Hebrew, Greek, English). I think there are even online versions.

Some say the original language that was spoken was the Holy language called Hebrew before the tower of Babel.
It would be good to spend some time learning that language first and there are many ways to do so. There are programs online, there are also channels on Roku where you can learn. Most of these though are conversational Hebrew not Biblical Hebrew but it will give you a start.

As far as time? well even if you only learn one word or one sentence in Hebrew today it's one more than you didn't know yesterday.

There is a website I have utilised, (www.hebrew4christians.com) that is a great resource not only for learning the basics of the Hebrew Aleph-Beyt, but the Hebrew customs and culture, particularly in light of a Messianic perspective. I would suggest you start there.

As for the End Times questions, keep in mind the Church has been in the "Last Days" for almost 2000 years. Whether we have 6 months left or 6 millennia before Christ returns, we would do best not to fret over the day or hour, lest we neglect the present moment and be caught by surprise when the Master comes. Rather, we ought to diligently work as unto the LORD (Col 3:23-24)

As John Newton put it in the timeless hymn, "Amazing Grace":

"We've no less days
To sing God's praise,
Than when we first begun."

This is not to say eschatology is a useless pursuit, but that one should recognise that God has less concern with one's mind than his heart. I would encourage you to study the Revelation of John, but do not become so focused on it that you neglect the other facets of your faith.

Why not begin? It's scientific that by just studying a language improves your brain processes. I firmly believe Hebrew is GOD'S language for the nations...and am studying it (3-4th year now). Even a casual study, Biblical Hebrew, reaps great understandings! Go for it!

But yes, depending upon factors as they occur each week nearly, and the Jewish Calendar... maybe 2 years maximum is my view. ONLY my POV... It could be this September for the Feast of Trumpets, you know? We obtain a crown for always looking for Jesus' return, so keep an eye out and don't worry about what others might say... they're called skeptics and scoffers and are dissed in the NT.
