This is a thread that people can use to share how they are studying God's Word.

We all need to study God's Word.

If you have ideas about verses share them in the thread for that month.

This thread can be a general overview of the people you are studying the Word with and how we are making progress toward our goals.

Why is this project important and why should you get involved.

1st it is just about God's Word time spent here is time spent in God's Word. We believe it can really help you understand and fall in love with God.

The time you spend here and what you share can help other people. The only way to help people is to help them understand God.

One thing people need to understand is theses verses.

14The sower soweth the word. 15And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
16And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
17And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
18And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
19And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
20And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

We need to be people who make the Word work.

Make sure the devil does not steal the Word from you.

We are setting this up so that people can do this Bible study with their familes.

This is what will really change things for people if families get into God's Word together.

The main idea here is to get this set up and working so that churches can do it.

Do you actually need to start 12 threads for this?

Won't your needs be served better by focussing your group on a smaller number of threads?

Are you aware that there are several similarly named threads here now?

Just curious as to how your plan is meant to unfold...

Yes I think one thread for each month.

What I would really like to see is a forum for this with a subform for each month.

How to make it unfold is to find people to help.

I think I will start inviting people who seem to know a lot about the Word and practical application.

The way this can happen fast is.

1. Find 12 people one for each month that understand what we believe God wants and they work on that. It would be best for a person to work on July than Aug than Sep etc. (If you want to be that just dig in.)

2. Find 100 people that decide they are going through the One Year Biible with a goup of people. This would really set up a great base of prove of how God's word canhelp people. It would also give confidence to pastors to get involved.

The idea behind dividing it up in 12 months is that it gives a person a certain amount of verses to be thinking about for a while.

This gives a person a chance to think about how to apply those verses.

Don't you think God's Word is long enough to go through it in about a year.

Indeed I do; my point was that Nazaroo was asking a wrong question, not that you were doing anything wrong in diving the thread into 12 sun-threads.

The important thing to understand about the goal of this project is:

We are posting thoughts that can help people or even a pastor lead a Bible study.

Think about God's Word and how a person could share it with other people to help them.

This is a project where we are promoting God's Word.

Reading it and applying it on a regular basis.

God's Word has all ready been written and it is easy to understand.

People may have more or understanding of it based on what they have been taught.

I have a B.S. in church management and also went to a Bible college.

I have been involved in some of the most sucessful churches in America.

So I have a good understanding of the Word.

One thing I can assure you of is that this study will be about the uncompromised Word.

Now the idea behind this project is not about how much someone knows about the Word.

It only about how God's Word can help people.

Many of the times people preach the Word it is only to make people better church members.

Also, pastors only have a limited amount of time to speak to people.

People need help to understand how it can be practical.

That is why involvement in this forum is so important. Besides the fact that it is too much work for one person... me or the pastor of a church who wants to lead his church through God's Word.

Now how does this apply to you reading this.

You can decide if you have an understanding of the full Gospel message. If you do that would be great to share some of that.

An example of that would be healing.

A person could share the basics about healing.

It could just be to say here is a book by Hagin about healing.

It could also be about a link to a chuch site I saw someone talking about on here who talked a lot about healing.

If you do not know a lot about God's Word that is fine. You can share on this forum how you are coming to understand it and how it is helping.

That is what a forum is all about. An example of that could be I was having some trouble in my marriage and found some information on here and me and my husband have been studying the Word and having the Holy Spirit really help us.

I believe that would be of more value than just a teaching.

There is a verse that says they overcame Satan by the blood of the lamb and their testimony.

Now the first goal is to get the Bible study set up and ready for churches to link to.

I believe God's Word is really that simple that churches could link to one Bible study.

The other could be a place on the web for people to get help.

People need to understand their gifts.

If we can develop a group of people who understand their gifts and want to find their place in this project it will be great.

Like I said I have I have degree in management so I could really help people find their gifts.

The goal is to find one church in every major city in America who goes through the One Year Bible and has cell groups set up around it.

I have the experience in very sucessful churches so I know what churches need to do to be sucessful.

What would be great is if you could send me a private message and share how you feel God is leading you to help.

I can share things that you could do.

One of the most important things is that a group of peope move forward on this project. That is one of the reason we spend time in the old testement seeing what God has been through trying to get His people to set up His Kingdom.
