  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a cat. His name is Klondike. We used to have another cat named Kayce, but we got rid of her when my brother was born. She looked a lot like Klondike with more brown than gray though. Klondike is a gray Maine Coon. Kayce was a gray Maine Coon with brown markings. We also had an outdoor Calico cat that adopted us. She had like three or four litters of kittens at our house. We put her a pet carrier on the front porch to keep her kittens in. She was a good cat. The only bad thing was she'd bring us mouse presents. Anyways, before we moved, she stopped coming around. We saw a cat on the side of the road that had been killed by a car, and it looked like her.

My cat's name is Fat Moosey, Porkus Extremus (No, I'm not kidding. We just call her Moosey, or Fat Kitty, for short.) She's honestly the most awesome cat I have ever had the fortune of meeting. The expressions she gets on her face are priceless sometimes (Her favorites are "Feed me/Pet me", "You're an idiot and I'm stunned you're my owner", and "If you don't knock it off I'm going to bite your face off" aka the Glare of Death). Despite her weight she's playful and loves to chase the dog and me around the house. She follows me around and many times will wait until I'm sitting or standing somewhere and lie down and lean against me, purring the whole time. I don't know what I'll do when she finally dies. I love my killy ^_^

thanks i like cat sites, have not heard of this one.i use catfancys on line site alot. these cats;) i giggled at the fat kitty post, sounds a bit like one of my siamese.i have 2 males, brothers and they have the most arrogant way about them. you can call kitty kitty till your blue in the face at dinner time, guess what? they're usually staring at me from atop the counters, like vultures..just too lazy to move yet. one, chetty has a weird love for the shower after we use it.he actually gets in,swishes his tail around like he's cleaning.then:scratch: he gets out all soaked and wet and runs to sit on us to dry him....

HI all, your cat stories are cool. Our cats name is Tazi. when we got him he was 6 weeks old, his name was satan, of course that was unacceptable so we decided his name would be Tazi, after the tasmanian devil in Bugs bunny. Tazi was the runt, but now he is 24 pounds. he likes Tuna, yogurt, clam chowder, maple syrup, candy, crackers, and is open minded enough to try anything once. he can fetch, he is a burrowing cat, he likes to go under bedsheets and blankets. he has very distinctive facial expressions, the frown which means he doesnt like whats going on, his very cute look, when he wants to be fed, and his wide eyed look when a garbage truck goes by. He always meets us at the door. He is afraid of spiders or anything that has black thread and looks like a spider.. he doesnt like the smell of toothpaste. he likes to drink out of your hand in the sink with water running into your hand. he jumps if we sneeze. right now his fav food is whiskas in a pouch.., he also likes the cd drawer on the computer, the mouse arrow, and any screensavers. He goes into the bath after we have had a shower and paws at the drips on the shower curtain and licks it and the walls. he also licks the condensation off the windows and mirrors. He thinks the mirror is magic, he looks at it then looks away quickly cause he doesnt understand why he can see himself. Hes fabulous tabulous. we love him, hes about 4 years old now, he enjoys catching things that are thrown over his head. his fav toy is the wire top off a champagne bottle.. Hes grey and white short hair and so plush and soft. Im so crazy about him.. we also have another 17 year old female, whiskers. she is very cute and dependable..

cats are so much easier to take care of. my molly has really been a blessing, sometimes..... she has this habit of getting me up early in the morning. ( don't really need an alarm clock with her around)_ i live in an apartment building so she hasn't been outside except to go to the vet's. i was reading some of my cat magazines i get and they said that cats can pretty well entertain themselves, but that they had a video for cats. well i got it and molly just loved it. but it only lasted 1 hr. since i'm away from the aprt. about 12 hrs. a day ,i came across a dvd the runs continuosly until you shut it off. so i bought it, put it on before i leave . i think it helps her not to be so lonely. ( i really hate leaving her there all day but i kinda got pushed into taking her when she was 6 months old. she's now over a year old. i'm just a softy i quess.)
i had other cats, so i kinda of have lots of stories about some of my different cats.

Mine too! No later than 5 30, except on weekends. :)

What is on those videos and where do you get them?? If your cat doesn't have the propensity to watch tv in general will she pay attention to the tape?

And each cat has a hundred stories, I'll bet. Cats are so wonderful! Your story is so cute.
