  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

And true. So, I change my mind. If only I could afford to pay someone that is more technically-minded to fix my computer issues.

So, have I missed anything lately?

Been trying to stay off the 'puter this month and look how well it worked out for me!

We're now getting ready for the trip to Disney. Getting last minute details settled, then we're leaving at 3am on Feb. 5th and yes, I'm nervous! First big family trip in a very very long time. I have no idea what to pack so we'll probably go shopping there. Staying there (Florida) for 1 week.

What kinds of ideas do you need with regards to what to pack? Food, clothes?? The prices in Orlando will be high since it's a tourist destination, so the more you can bring from home the better.

I'm familiar with the surrounding area, so let me know if you have questions.

My brain has now gone into worry/anxiety mode. Expecting major snowstorm on Wednesday right at the border where we're to cross early Saturday morning for our trip to Disney. Hoping the roads are cleared and the storms be over by then!!

And according to facebook (because nobody knows how to use the tele-freakin'-phone via landline anymore) fil sounds like he's taking a turn for the worse. Bil is "really concerned" and hubby has a gut feeling his father won't make it to summer. I think he will. So, yeah...with all that piled together, it's gonna be one heckuva week before our "vacation". Me wonders how much of a vacation we'll really have. Hoping the major distractions will do just that..........DISTRACT!!!
