I am not about to speak for "LilLamb 219". Please feel free to discuss these points with her on the Lutheran section of CF.

Recent news report stated that Lutherans were conflicted over homosexuality. Not the report I saw, but recent: http://www.onalaskacommunitylife.com/articles/2008/03/25/news/06elcastatement.txt
What exactly are you trying to say here, my brother in Christ? Is this thread about homosexuality?
There is debate about the homosexuality issue by some in mostly the ELCA branch of Lutheranism, not the WELS or LCMS.

I bet if I tried real hard I could find disparaging remarks about the SDA church to quote here. Do you want to go there? Ricker

People who have been baptized by immersion in other denominations can join the Adventist Church by profession of faith. They are not required to be rebaptized.

That is good to know. I seem to remember a lot of rebaptisms when I was a kid growing up Adventist, but that was long ago and far away.

When I was baptized into the Lutheran church--I was sprinkled. This is why, after studying how it is biblically done--I was re-baptized (or baptized for the first time is how I looked at it) in the SDA church.

I didnt know they only sprinkle, anyone know which churches baptize in water.....
