I started writing this at work and I thought I would share.
I sit here thinking, wondering why!
People a cancer, must be destroyed
Humanity, like the pheonix, to be reborn
Turn your backs on all that is holy, what gives you the right!
Duty, Honor, Loyalty, words now forgotten
Selfishness, immorality, vice, the words now cherished
You say God is dead, but without him, you would not be
Who are you? but a creation of God
His love he shows, but hatred you return
The pinnacle of civilization you say, but so was Rome, now they are no more
People walking like machines, afraid to face reality
What is real, no one knows, to afraid to open the door
What is love, a artificial construct to justify lust
Inside we are all the same, natures perfect killing machine
Creators of our own destruction, marching onward, trapped in the darkness, never to see the light
Easier to live in darkness, we cannot see the disease that kills so we say everything is great, out of sight, out of mind
