  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

?

i guess he is the only "christian" member of an athiests anti-christian rap group called OFWGKTA led by tyler the creator (rapper)...i like frank tho....he stood up for god in a song called "we all try"
but my favorite by him is called "thinking about you"
personally i think that he doesnt belong in the rap group considering how talented frank is compared to the rest of his peers in that group...what are your thoughts?

I just started listening to Frank Ocean recently, just a few days ago actually. I like what I've heard so far, I haven't heard the whole mixtape yet but I will soon.

My favorite song of his is also "Thinking About You." I hope he can come out with a really great album soon because he seems to be a very talented artist.

Whoooaaa I didnt know he was part of any type of group that bashed God and all that. I liked his song Novocain, Thinking about you, and We all Try. We all Try sounds amazing sung by Sid Siram (I know I spelled his name wrong) But honestly, seeing things the way they are.Im going to have to drop all this worldly music and listen to either Country, Classical (lol) or um..whatever other music that doesn't have an influence on my mind nor ears.

Tyler The Creator. I dont even know what to say about that boy, all I know is, he needs to sit down somewhere because I remember I saw this weird video where his eyes turned black and he bit a roach and started throwing up . ugh w.e all I know was it was disturbing @ the time I listened to it, and his song Bastard. His word play was nice but that song is a Big Thumbs down in regards of shouldn't be listening to it.

yeah..he is part of OFWGKTA...he is realy different as a person compared to the rest of his band mates..i think he only joined them to be a part of their record label

Frank ocean is talented and I love his music. Especially Sweet Life, Super rich kids and novacane. The group he's part of are all either agnostic or atheist but he's good friends with them-especially Tyler the creator. And with OFWGKTA someone once described them as the the Dave Chapelle of rap because essential that's what they are - they're not satanists they just take the mick out of EVERYTHING. They have a bad reputation but contrary to alot the lyrics of Tyler, he is straight edge- he doesn't smoke/ drink- and alot of their music is actually very good if given a chance. I recommend to try them out if you aren't offended easily.
