Greed and envy of executive pay will always be prevalent among those who have no experience in such positions.
So, how are you gonna stop businesses from moving to places where they don't have to deal with unions as Boeing did. They closed up shops in Washington and moved south of the Mason-Dixon line.

Whine all you want about how unfair it is, but unless you are going to pass laws forbidding companies from moving your are gonna have to get over it.
If you are OK with that, then 'fair' would dictate that employees can't leave the state either.
Well the continued downward pressure on the wages of skilled and unskilled jobs alike, and the continuing upward trend of the wealthy, is not going to get you to where you want either economically nor politically.

Lots of complaining. No solutions.
Got any?
Better to move South where there are no unions than to other countries, but we still need to make business in the US more profitable to stop the offshoring. Obama doesn't seem to understand such fundamentals.
Bolster education and training. An educated workforce is more valuable.
Strengthen unions. Historically, wages have done much better with them, and the country as a whole did better.
You some sorta commie? That's UNAMERICAN! The workers are lucky to have jobs from the job creators!
The Job Creators don't have to create jobs! They do it because they love us.
For the Job Creators So Loved the World that they opened a factory just for you and me!
Don't nail 'em to a cross!
Education does not provide jobs.
Unions do not provide jobs either.
Companies do, based on their NEED for employees. No need, no job.
China isn't booming because they have more educated workers. They are booming because labor costs are much less than the US. Any idea how much labor goes into a new Iphone?
$8
Only if there is work for them to do.Companies need educated workers.
A large supply of highly educated worker will drive DOWN salaries. More people competing for those high paying jobs.If a country has a large supply of highly educated workers, they have corner on the market in global trade.
These days, lawyers do that.Unions help keep pay up and employees safe.
You are speaking of private sector unions. Unions in the public sector continue to grow.Ever since strike trailed off, and unions became vilified, there has been a precipitous drop in wages for the middle class
I don't care how much someone else makes. I am glad they are making money. Everyone hopes to do that.while the rich have seen their income sky rocket.
What constitutes 'abusing their power?'They are abusing their power
And labor costs are lower because the standard of living is lower. The fact is that American workers cannot compete in manufacturing because American workers expect to be able to live an American lifestyle. Our competitive edge cannot come from being merely warn bodies willing to do manual labor. Our edge must come from a skill set, which comes from education and innovation.

Those Chinese solar researchers are the cream of an engineering crop that included an estimated 10,000 Ph.D. graduates last year. This spring the U.S. will graduate about 8,000 Ph.D. engineers, an estimated two-thirds of whom are not U.S. citizens. About 150,000 students who majored in engineering, computer science, information technology, and math will collect bachelor's degrees. The Chinese government claims that in recent years the number in China has been well north of 500,000 and rising fast; even if overstated, as some believe, the real number is much larger than America's, and the quality of those graduates is improving.
