  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Today I was shopping and saw a number of woman whom I felt attracted to. The enemy wasted no time in making me feel hurt & rejected and saying ahhh your past it now mate, no hope for you. But then I remembered how faithful God is and how Sarah must have felt when she young woman bearing children while her poor body grew older and without hope (humanly). How every cry of a child must have cut the maternal part of her in half. Longing and aching and wondering why me Lord why me? Why have you forgotten me, for so long? But Just God so REJOICED her heart with a dear son, so to will he do with us who feel, hurt. Hurt sometimes when we see a couple arm in arm not jealous just hurt and may be we groan within and wonder why God? why? Why have you given me such longing desires and not met them? But God is faithful, this cant be denied. When we feel all hope is gone, because we are either older or unattractive in our eyes, or a bit bulky, this is when the God Almighty of the impossible begins to do the impossible and meet His childrens deepest hearts desires. If He can meet Sarahs need and Hannahs need and longing and Elizebeths need of children, how much more will He have pity on His children like you and me.Take heart, He is Good and gracious, dont be robbed by the enemy of this fact. Bless you john

Hey there, why do I write these kind of threads?
Well 1st it is one of ministries to be an encourager. I have had so little in my life or so few people who have emailed me or said words that have so lifted me up. I want that to stop with me, so that I will never be a discourager. 2nd I feel inspired and moved, to write these posts and by Gods grace and He be glory alone He has blest some dear folks with the few words I do say. 3rd. Ive suffered a lot in my life in waiting for a spouse and have learnt valubale lessons that you younger folks can avoid because Ive been there, and know a BETTER to live while you wait.. Take care John
