You should only ask and receive. Your statements of buying something and also not being able to afford something shows that you are depending on yourself and not God. Anything you obtain yourself will waste away in time..... Woe to those to say what God cant do and that it is wrong to take anything God has given....

The reward is eternal life with the lord, but we should not do it for the reward, but to glorify God's righteousness.
