  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

This place still exists?

Well, I don't know if any of the regulars are still around from the days that I used to haunt this joint, but if there are. I just want to say hello and I pray that God has richly blessed your lifes.

As for me, my wife and I have #2 on the way, the baby is due in March. Our first born, Cyprian, is now 19 months and is as cute and energetic as ever.

Also my parish, for those who don't know me I attend a personal parish that celebrates the sacraments according to the books of 1962 and is run by the FSSP, just bought a church of our own, so no more renting from another diocesan parish.

Anyways, things are going well, I hope things are going well for everybody else.

God Bless,
Brian

Hey, Pro! Good to see you again! I'm Matthew; I posted here way back when. It's quite a change, alas, not for the better. :(

Raven? How are you doing? Still going to the TLM? Are you in college?

Thanks for the reply, Pro. I am in college; student-teaching in social studies. I had my very first go at a TLM not too long ago, a Low Mass. I loved it! I usually attend a rather small Byzantine Catholic Chapel or the N.O. with my mother and siblings, at times.

I have not yet found a permanent TLM. :( Perhaps, whenever, I move after getting a History Teaching job, after I graduate? Who knows? Deo Volente.

Actually probably a month or so ago I was wondering how you were doing. (I was still Lel back then I think?) How time flies!

I'm actually just getting back towards the Church after a good five years of staunch non-theism. This place has changed quite a bit, and I barely find myself around OBOB anymore, and then only for fun.

Very good to see you. Life is good for us, tight at times but wonderful. Lily is growing fast and fearless. We are trying for another baby. Can't thank God enough for what we have.

Hello Brian. :)

No, you probably do not know me. But hello anyway.

Just wanted to say that it seems many have been showing up again, recently. Myself included.
