Look at this place its ghost town! What needs to be done to revive it?

Does the SDA church discourage or prohibit it's memhers from using these sort of forums?Mr_David said:What should we do? I just found this place. I'd like to try and find some answers, but who's going to even care?

When you consider the fact that there are millions of Adventist worldwide, you would expect to see a lot more activity here.
I'm not an adventist, but I have studied the Bible with them. Their knowledge of the scriptures and spiritual insight is quite impressive. I like watching 3ABN and think that the Adventist present the gospel message in a very beautiful way. Doug Bachelor, in particular, does a wonderful job of teaching how the Old and New testaments tie together.
Hi Sophia. I'd like to see more activity here as well. I believe if we can keep it civil that it will become more active. Thanks for your response and i look forward to hearing from you again.Sophia7 said:No, there is no prohibition against using these sorts of forums. Probably a lot of Adventists don't know about them. Also, some who were here before moved on because of some unfortunate arguing that was going on a few months ago. Now that we seem to have more civil discussions, for the most part, I wish we could get more Adventists to come on here. There should be something for everyone. Personally, I enjoy talking about theological issues while others prefer fellowship threads. Both are important.

Kyran said:Probley can't, you need more then fifteen posts to put up links.
Cliff2 said:OK, no problems it is just that you would be only talking with the so called converted.
If more were to come here it would help reach those who do not know the "full truth" as we know it.
I am sure you are welcome to place your link here for any to go and visit your Forum.

I also like to stop by at the orthodox forum, and occassionally the messianic one.
Cliff2 said:I am not even sure that this Forum isabsolutely necessary.
Sophia7 said:It's not necessary, but it is nice to have our own forum. Maybe someday more Adventists will come. I guess since we don't have many people posting here regularly, they don't have much incentive to stay.
Cliff2 said:I really meant the "Traditional Seventh-day Adventist" Forum.
When it all kicked off I know all about the troubles then but it seems to have settled down now.
Sophia7 said:Yes, I agree. It seems rather unnecessary anymore to have the subforums. No one posts on them anyway, and people don't seem to be engaging in the personal attacks that led to the split in the first place. I always thought that it was pretty sad that we couldn't work out our differences and be civil to each other in spite of disagreement on some issues. Our forum wouldn't have made a good impression on any visitors, that's for sure.
where would that be?DarylFawcett said:I am a Seventh-day Adventist that prefers to post more actively in Seventh-day owned and operated forums, one of which I am the administrator.
