because when you watch youtube videos there is horde of posts like this:

It's like saying your gay before every sentence, who honestly cares? or like me saying i'm Christian before every post. It should be a given depending on how you speak, and if you talking about a video then who cares?

For me, I see it on the videos of songs by my favorite bands, like mewithoutYou, Godspeed You! Black Emperor. I listen to a lot of post-rock, and sometimes the comments on those videos contain religious arguments, actually most of the comments are religious arguments. I see so many atheists just hating all religion, especially Christians, and I don't even know why they bring it up considering post-rock does not contain any lyrics or religious orientation whatsoever. Lol.
I usually don't bother taking part in the arguments.

But who honestly cares? They're not going to win any points with anyone saying that. It's like me going to your house, and when you answer the door saying, "hi, i'm gay, and an Atheist and I really love your house", the statement could have done without the proclamations of social status and beliefs.

Because, if they don't believe in god they don't want people to think that they do. Say that there was such a thing as atheist rock band,(I don't even know that would work) and you commented that you liked their song. Wouldn't you want to clarify that you where not an atheist?

Hear is something to chew on man if there listening to Christian rock or worship or what ever a lot of Christian rock, country, hardcore, metal you name it are worshiping god in there own way. so when they say that "the songs really get to me/you" that is god striking a chord in there life. I mean I know people how don't believe in God who read the bible and were moved by what was written in it, and that is because god has POWER instead of being frustrated that there saying there atheist be happy in the fact that god in what ever amount has started working in there life.

if there listening to Christian rock or worship or what ever a lot of Christian rock, country, hardcore, metal you name it are worshiping god in there own way. so when they say that "the songs really get to me/you" that is god striking a chord in there life. I mean I know people how don't believe in God who read the bible and were moved by what was written in it, and that is because god has POWER instead of being frustrated that there saying there atheist be happy in the fact that god in what ever amount has started working in there life.

Maybe you weren't paying attention or something. I don't really care if catholics/gays/lesbians/cannibals listen to the music as long as they don't find the need to tell everyone their sexual preference, religious beliefs and dietary choices before stating that they like it or hate it.

Yeah, Hudechek's post didn't come across as if he was patronizing you or anything... He is sorta right, even if some dude's atheist and decides to flame a Christian band on Youtube, at least he's hearing the music... It's better than nothing. Besides, those comments are usually marked as spam anyway.
Well, I guess they hear it, as long as it's not on mute... :/

I'm not angry, just frustrated, it's like an annoying fly. I really like people to listen to the gospel, and Christian music and the such. I'm not frustrated about that. I don't care who listens to the gospel.

I'm just annoyed that people usually state their sexual preference and religious beliefs before commenting. That's all.

I guess, I should probably choose my words a little more carefully. you seem like a cool guy from the few threads I have been in that you reply I would rather not have enemy.
