Internet Explorer is all but dead, get ready for Spartan the new web browser from MS.

Will follow the likes of Chrome and Firefox hence, will adhere to open standards (hopefully).

Which is kinda funny since if that were to hold with this browser, Microsoft would be doing that to themselves.

Well I'm not too sure if the title of my post should have been "This is Sparta" or "Meet the Spartans" - if you know your movies then either may apply to the new browser.

Hmm, this is apparently (rumour) a screenshot of Spartan. If it is then it's looking a bit like a childs toy web browser even though it may perform good. Still, early days and the interface might get some sort of makeover.
