  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is a question to Non-Christians...

I hear this from my atheist friends all the time, that Christians are hyocrites because they have they're so called morals and sometimes break them.

I know that we are supposed to carry ourselves in a godly manner and we encourage other to follow and do the same, but sometimes some atheists and other NonChristians must think we're super people that aren't supposed to screw up every so often.

So this is for the Non-Christian, do you think that we don't care about our morals if we backslide or just plain mess up??

Im not being mean or anything, just serious.

It seems belonging to a religious sect in any form brings about much scrutiny and criticism. Therefore the world waits and watches because of the tremendous capacity, conviction, claim and propagation.A domestic scandal will certainly raise a few voices and fingers more so a public one.Being an outsider I can only imagine it would be solely based on the fact that humans including I can feel...not inferior, not equal, but superior! With the disposition that there is no grace confered to your state of mind which means I'm right and your wrong almost childlike.Proud creatures are we.You may very well care about your morals but most of us see ourselves as the centre purpose of life as you would see christ as yours. One more thing for one to love another more than oneself as to sacrifice all to please, even to pay(god/christ)the homage of your reason as not to question so much but to have faith in all that has been revealed I find absolutely edifying.Even as an outsider this should purchase salutation and using reason and rational earns my respect even someone as selfish as I knows when respect is due.All the best...

Christians are called hypocrites, because that’s what they are critically acclaimed for. Many of them portray a morally pretentious attitude, and believe they are superior over everybody else. But at the same time, they gossip in church, they cuss, they commit sexual sin, and all the rest of it. The problem is that they are no different to non-believers, but they think they are. The majority of Christians deserve a hard time for their hypocrisy, and that’s why they are receiving it.
Haha, funny. (Jokes) But really, do you actually think all christians are like that, cos their not. Just some people who say their are christians get into stuff, does that mean they all??
