Threads and posts in the Ask A Chaplain forum are moderated (i.e. must be approved by a Chaplain before they are visible to others). Posts and Threads that violate CF rules will not be approved. Likewise, Chaplains have discretion in deciding to approve a thread or not. This also means that not all posts, for example, those that blaspheme God, submitted to the Ask A Chaplain forum are guaranteed and answer from the CF Chaplains.
AAC (Ask a Chaplain) is not a forum to challenge CF rules, engage in debate, or just seek discussions without a sincere need. Only the member starting a thread and Chaplains are allowed to post in a thread; all other posts will not be approved.
Answers given by Chaplains are not presented as the official CF position, rather they are the specific views of the Chaplain posting. The goal is to provide an opportunity to ask an ordained Chaplain a question.
All posts are anonymous to the general public. Only the CF Chaplains can see the userID of posts in a thread but these non-Chaplain authored posts will appear under the userID anonymous to all others reading this public forum.
