I think America is a rather primitive country .
I saw a film about a true story where a young man was sentenced to death after being in jail for ten years for a crime he commited when he was 17 yrs old . His girlfriend ,14 yrs at the time ,got out before turning 21 . This happens a lot, seems to me pure vengeance, and soils America who acts like the gendarme of the world, when she needs grow up and truly educate her masses .

This should have been handled differently, no matter what color skin she had.
She obviously had no criminal background. The cop that made that ridiculous statement sounds like one of those chip on the shoulder cops.
The bail system should be amended, it surely does burden all poorer people of any skin color way more than it does the rich and middle class.

I think it's pretty sad this woman's entire family and friends couldn't get $150 together for the bail. Does that level of poverty or complete lack of even basic financial planning reflect the average American situation?

Donald Trump said he was not going to pursue the old policies of 'taking caof the wolrd ',but instead
looking inward and taking care of America and Americans .

Over here we would like that, as until you look inwardly you cannot grow in Truth /Spiritually .This would also mean a long overhall of basic education to learn, that a real world of history and culture exists outside of the U.S., that Americans need to learn from .
As for this case, the policeman who said "but there would be noone in prison ", means that they arrest people to keep up the numbers in prison. Not an enlightened way of organising society .
