What is your basis for this statement?

Where is it said God created other worlds, and what would be the purpose of these worlds ?

There is no explicit statement, only strong hints.

In the Bible, there is discussion of our world and then discussion of "heaven." We know that there are other created beings, called "angels" or "Sons of God". It is possible that they are microscopic and all dance on the head of a pin, but it is more likely that they have physical bodies and live in physical places. John the Revelator was about to bow down to one angel, but was told :

We know of one instance where God held an assembly and all the sons of God came. Satan came from our planet earth, so likely the other sons of God came from other planets.

Later, God spoke directly to Job, and recalled that the sons of God shouted for joy at the creation of the Earth.

Job 38

In Isaiah, God says that he fashioned the heavens and the earth, and He did not create "it" to be empty. One could argue that "it" refers only to the earth, but when we look out into the vastness of our universe, wouldn't it be most logical to understand that God didn't intend that to be empty either?

So my logic is that:
  1. God made the entire universe. He also made our ancestors Adam and Eve and put them on a physical planet.
  2. We know that the universe is comprised of uncountable numbers of suns, and we have proof that some of these suns have planets around them
  3. We know that God has made other "sons of God", and that they at times come together for assembly.
  4. Therefore, it seems most logical to me that these other sons of God would live on other planets.
... what would be the purpose of these worlds ?

The purpose would be the same as the purpose for which God created our earth and put Adam and Eve on it. God is the author of life, and thus He created life on our planet. I don't presume to know the purpose of WHY He made us, but I am happy that He did!

Best wishes,

KT

There is no technology in the material world whereby we can reach other stars. The closest one other than the Sun is four light years away

I agree that there is no current technology that could get us to Alpha Centauri. I found this post that says that with minimal improvement of current technology, we might be able to achieve speeds 4x the speed of the Voyager probe, and then it would take 18,750 yrs to get there and fly by. From the link: "There are proposals for small probes accelerated by laser-driven light sails to speeds on the order of 15% of light speed -- 25 years to Alpha Centauri -- but there are a large number of engineering challenges in building such things that we haven't even begun to solve."

But "never say never" as the saying goes.

Natural beings cannot engage in interstellar space travel, they just can’t, but supernatural beings can.

Correct, with our current level of technology.

Star Trek likes to present itself as flawlessly logical, but even though I have loved the show, it is also full of many logical fallacies.

Peace be with you

God instructed the priests to bless the people

This tradition of priestly blessing is the origin for Spock's Vulcan salute.

So I think it is OK here, on Christian Forums, to quote him...

"Live long and prosper."

According to Job 38:7, the "sons of God" were present and celebrated at the beginning of creation. That means they are not a part of creation if they were already here.

I agree. I don't understand your point.

From my daughter still in the womb, right before Leonard Nimoy’s death

You have a very imaginative mind friend. Keep your thoughts on Christ and His commandments
We will not see interstellar travel in the natural world and certainly not in our lifetime.

Eye has not seen, ear has not heard what God has prepared to those that love Him. In this life we are limited to Earth, but in the next not even the stars are the limit. Paul speaks of being taken to the third heaven, which would be outside time and space. The first heaven is the sky, the second is space, the third ?
