  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It happens a lot through the years of one's life,
Especially during prolonged periods of doubt, stress, or strife,
That we feel neglected, rejected, or abandoned by God,
While remembering earlier days of His favor, but now? - how odd!

That His presence has lifted, and like an eagle, taken flight,
Leaving us earthbound creatures alone, amidst sin's powerful night,
Wondering why all this has happened, since He's promised so much,
Of His blessing, high purpose, continual guidance and such?

But wait, these also happened, to some more faithful than we,
Remember Job, Abraham, and Joseph, to name just three,
Job was blameless, feared God, and had integrity,
Abraham was called "Friend of God", Joseph harbored no enmity.

Still, even they were tried and tested as with fire,
To bring forth character pure as gold... that was God's desire,
Not only for them, but also for us, beloved childen of His,
That our faith might bring praise and glory to Jesus...that's why He's allowed all of this!
