We didn't do anything for our anniversary and hubby's birthday is next month. He wanted to go to this concert and spend the night in a motel somewhere. Talked him into going to Mentone.

My daughter gave me warnings before I ever began LOL

i lurk a lot, but it is usually a quick read and nothing more, lol...i don't have time to be posting (and probably not to be reading, but i do!!)

btw, my praxis seemed to go well -- it seemed to be way easier than i expected, so i may have failed, lol

Hubby and I finished painting the diningroom this afternoon. He rolls, I do trim. We painted it burgundy. It's very pretty. I hurt....but it was worth it.

I just joined a stamping club. Anyone else here make your own cards? I'm really enjoying it. I need stuff like that to do. I've made 8 cards so far, and will soon be working on my Christmas cards when everything gets here. I've met some new pals too, which is always nice.

That's awesome, Ang! Mom does stamping and scrapbooking. I'm talentless in those areas so I stick with my beading and jewelery stuff. *G*

I have only just discovered this stamping stuff. While at Hobby Lobby last week looking for wax seals, there was all this unknown paraphernalia and it looks interesting. As I have tons of photos to scrapbook, I might also look into some other related things once I become a *gasp* housewife.
