We have seen a momma bear and her cubs in a tree once when we went to the smokies, closest I've been to one out in the open, seen them in zoo's before
Good morning, good morning.. (bustles in with a steaming plate of biscuits), sorry I'm a wee bit late. Then again (puts the kettle on) maybe it's just as well as teatime is really around ten o'clock anyway.
Had a little problem with the goats again this morning. Mischevious things, goats. Especially the boys, Bert and Ernie. They decided to try getting into the garden. Bert got his head, shoulders and one leg through the wire and got stuck. Ernie got a bit further with both legs and got stuck. I was afraid it would be necessary to cut them out of the wire. Thankfully, they cooperated and all's well. Silly boys.
Well, 'Bloomer, good luck and God bless, whatever you and Hubby are up to.
Try the Snickerdoodles, Seajoy, Cinnamon seems just the thing on a chilly morning, don't you think?
Ah! There's the kettle singing. How about something a bit full-bodied this morning? Oolong ought to be just the ticket.
Stude,
how does one go about procuring some Oolong tea? I've looked in all my grocery stores and nobody has it. Apparently Green Tea is all the rage. Green Tea tastes like lawn mower clippings to me.

Here is a place that might have what you want.

I brought some green oolong back from Taiwan last spring and it was good. One thing one must remember is that the water temperature makes a difference on the taste too. For green tea, it is best that the water does not come to a boil, heat the water to just below a boil. That is what the tea experts in Taiwan have told me.
I am actually going to Taiwan this week. Yeah, that is where I am off to. Not sure if I will be in a place to get some tea leaves, but if I do, I plan on purchasing some. If I do, I would be glad to share some with you.
LOL!I have to agree. In fact, I would say it smells that way too! Simply not a proper cup of tea, to me. Then again, I'm not fond of most herbal teas either. They taste like dishwater to me.
Have you tried in the Chinese sections of the stores? Another thing you can do, is look around for a China-town type thing. Or, better yet, try a Trader Joe's. Do you have, within reasonable distance, an international marketplace available? I'll look around for websites. I know that Bieglow's has one, but I'm not fond of thier Oolong. Too strong. Tetley's is excellent (but then I'm biased).
Hi, everyone!!
