Think I'll sit down here for a bit... (4)

My family actually sits in the very back pew because my Mom needs the extra light to see. Unfortunately, that light gives ME a headache. So, since my parents were on vacation, I decided to sit up closer to see if it helped. I'll continue to sit with my parents when they're there, but it was nice to sit in a different spot. Also helped with concentration. Not the same ole same ole...ya know?

And why not the middle? 'Cause all those seats were taken. LOL

we have a specific seat depending on which service -- wednesday night we are the third row from the front on the aisle side -- sunday morning about 1/2 way back on the window side --

I like to sit toward the front to keep from being distracted by what's going on in front of me, especially with the families who have small children. It helps my daughter concentrate on the sermon and liturgy and besides, it's the same pew my parents sat in regularly when I was growing up.

I'm going to Montreal in October for a pastors conference. We'll be visiting a mosque and Hindu and Sikh temples. That ought to be interesting.

We're moving my son to college in a week & 1/2, and going to Minneapolis for Labor Day weekend - hope I can find a sub to play for me at church!

Oh, and to fill in the time before then, we are fixing the bathroom floor - I feel like we should be on a cable tv show - unfortunately not the DIY network - more like the comedy channel!

She wouldn't have to sue me because I'd feel so bad I'd send her one of those plastic keyboard covers to prevent such a tragedy from happening again. And yes, I'm sure I will make her laugh that hard again. Now whether or not it will be intentional on my part the next time remains to be seen. LOL

You know, I should have gotten one of those keyboard covers years ago. Mine has gotten filthy. I keep it blown out, but the dust and dirt that collects on these dished-topped keys just keeps collecting no matter what I do.

Revrand, as to the mosques; why? I can see why you are planning a retreat afterwards like you are...
