the x-ray machines show nothing private -- they had photos online of images from them, you couldn't tell a man from a woman

No, but it shows the rolls of fat! Nevermind the privates!

Bring it on, baby! They'll get what they deserve if they are peeping. Then there will be the lawsuits.

Stank????? Oi. Girls, really. Just a wee bit of decorum, Please?

I, too would love to go back to the British Isles. As for Renoir, I also love Degas, and most of all, Monet. The old estate homes of England have superb collections of art as well.
I found driving around England to be a bit disconcerting at first. After a while one get's used to the other side of the road. It was the terminology and the quaint signs that were really entertaining. Some of the side roads though, would make a bike path look wide. I suppose that driving a right hand drive car would make the adjustment easier. Ours was an American make transported over there. In fact, there was a bit of a fracas with the Brits when we got there. Due to the size of the vehicle (GMC Dully 1-ton pickup and forty foot goose neck horse trailer), they didn't want to allow me to drive it. They felt it was a commercial rig and shouldn't be operated by an ordinary driver. After a drive test, they were convinced and let me go. Doing a drive test on your first day in London is murder. Talk about trial by fire. Add to this two horses that wanted out and all the equipment packed into both vehicles. Oi, Vay!

Been awake since 4am. Just thought I would check to see if anybody was home....guess I'll just talk to myself.

Well, that was boring.......I already know what I'm going to say.

Hubby went out on a call, an hour away, at about 5am. The beagle is asleep...might be a good time for some cereal. (see pillow fight thread)

Today is Gem's b-day party so we got up early to clean and prep. Cake is out of the oven, and cooling so it can be iced. We picked up the house yesterday, so today has been major vacuuming (which Hunter has done beautifully) and sweeping/mopping.

Looks like the earlier predictions of rain may hold off until after the party, which will be great. Our original plan was to have the kids go outside for most of the party. We got bubbles and sidewalk chalk and paint for them to play with. We've been cleaning like mad since the weather prediction, just in case they are stuck inside.

well, this is my break between floors and setting up goodie bags. See you later.

I meant to tell you that yesterday my niece and I walked the dog to the park and there are houses where backyards back up to the park and they have chain-link fences and one yard had 2 beagles! They were SO well-behaved!!! They just sat and watched my dog with interest and didn't do their beagle howl So cute!

I only get up at 4 AM when forced to by nature and having had too much tea before bed, but I would never consider not going back to sleep.

Whatever this front is that blew through Texas last night brought some nasty allergens with it and my eyes are hurting. The wind has been gusting upt to and over 50 mph since yesterday afternoon and it's much cooler, but my eyes are watering so bad I can hardly see.
Will that excuse fly with the IRS?

Well, speaking of weather, it's been pouring here all day. About time we had some rain. Last couple of nights, I've had the fire going. I got the stove a bit too hot last night and the wall against my bed was downright toasty. Sure was comfy in the morning.

I know what you mean about allergens, Porteross. I've been battling them for the past couple of weeks. Last week I cleaned out an attic of the blown paper insulation. The stuff is still bothering me. Yuk! I think that's why I had such a bad attack of the sneezes and runny nose last night. So I took Severe Allergy medicine. The stuff makes me drowsy and lazy for 24 hours on a single four hour dose.

I have had regular work for two weeks now and it looks like a long term job. As in it may last several months.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below,
Praise to the Lord you heavenly host,
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost!
