Well today... um, yesterday-today, ah... today but yest.... Sigh, I hate being up after midnight.

Okay, Wednesday, May, 18th, was my twenty-fifth re-birthday. I was baptised on May 18,1986, I and my three step-children. It really surprised everyone at the church when the Pastor baptised me first, LOL!

I spent the day trying to fix the wiring on my Horse Trailer. It has deteriorated to the point that the insulation was just gush. So, I ended up just yanking the backbone and replacing it from the plug back to the T in the back. I left the marker wiring as it's still in decent shape. However, the wiring in the tackbox is going to have to be attended to. The little (they're really tiny) toggle switches for the Horse-box light and the tack box light are both shot. I jerry-rigged it so they're on all the time, however the light controller on the truck doesn't like that. So, I'm going to have to do something about that too. Hey, what do you expect? It's a '58 Miley. I guess that's the reason I like the trailer. It matches my cars and me... old and decrepit.

I'm guessing there was just no time to waste, Stude.

How are you doing, ctay.....since your recent losses? Hope you are hanging in there. I struggled a lot after my friend's passing in february.

Doing better. My sister in law was the first to go. I was in the room with her when she passed away and had to go out and tell my husband. I was doing good trying to stay strong for my husband but by the time we got to my mother in laws funeral I lost it. Doing better though. I caught up a friend I had in high school on facebook just recently, well actually her and her sister both. She's been dealing with cancer and just got the news they can't do anything more for her and gave her a couple of months at the most. Everything will be ok for me. Everytime I get a little down I do some praying.

Oh does everyone have plans for Memorial day weekend? I wanted to go camping but it looks like we won't be unless hubby gets the camper fixed. I plugged the camper up the other day and the fan for the furnace won't shut off. We may end up at the lake and have a cookout

Hubby has been complaining about not being able to see out of his right eye, I kept telling him to go get his eyes checked. Well his glasses broke over this past weekend so he finally had to go, he went today. They told him they thought he had a fast growing cataract, they gave it a name and he's going to an eye surgeon, the appointment will be after memorial day weekend because they are going to be closed until the 31st and they'll be calling him to let him know when the appointment will be.

It would be nice to go camping but we know that no matter where we went it would be ultra crowded and it sort of loses its appeal because of that.

I'm not even sure if my wife will be off on Sunday or Monday anyways. So I may be at home alone for those two days (at least while she's at work.) We'll probably attend worship on Saturday night because she works Sunday mornings. Guess I'll probably just play video games while she's gone.

I don't have anything official planned yet. This weekend my family is getting together with all my aunts and uncles for a family reunion.

My plan for Memorial Day will be studying I am sure. Summer session starts on Monday. I have been off for a week and have been road tripping. Saw my daughter and her husband last weekend. I then drove to my hometown and saw a number of friends as well as took a number of pictures of houses as well as the grave markers of my parents and both sets of grandparents. Changed out the silk flowers on my parent's graves. No family lives there anymore so it was fun taking the trip down memory lane. Saw about a half dozen friends too. Did some geocaching.

Am at my son's now for a couple of days and am trying to talk my other son into coming up. It was his birthday earlier in the week.

Back to classes on Monday. Still don't know which class I am taking. I wish they could get my appeal settled so I would know for sure. I did redo my registration this morning.

It has been cool and rainy this week. Saw a couple of sunny days. I would sure love to see more sun though.

Hi Zec

Matt, how did your finals go?

As far as I know, I come from a bunch of Ukrainian peasants. Not that I've really bothered to look.

GCC can trace his family back to William the Conqueror.

*****Old post, I know, but too bad!

Mel, my family's roots also go back to William the C. Not that we're related to him, but rather that it was his invasion of Britain in 1066 that brought our family to the island as part of his court. I can only assume they weren't his favorite judging by the land given to the on the windy Scottish coast, but the castle and land are still held by the clan.

I see in my absence that things were even worse than before. I wish I could say I'm shocked, but instead, my sadness regarding TCL deepens.

There, I've shared my thoughts. Didn't mean to interrupt the pattern.

ETA....Happy Birthday, Stude!!!!!

Well... double-nickel today. Oh... joy.
One more year gone by and still we await His return. How many more generations do we wait Lord?

Stude, you know as well as anybody that the day of the Lord's return is known only to God the Father in heaven. Any idea on how Harold Camping is handling being wrong yet again?

Hey Porter, nice to hear from you! Yeah, I think half the British population has a connection with W.T.C. Some are even related to him. If my wife's family is any indication of what the old man was like though, that relation is no advantage.

Thanks for the birthay wishes!

As to H.C. I think the media only listens to him because it makes Christians look foolish.

He and the other two Jacka**es, the one with the protest issue and the idiot who burnt the Koran, do more damage than a legion of demons.
