Some major changes for my wife and me.
Seven weeks ago I had accepted a call to serve as pastor at a congregation in southern California (in the mountains, no smog, no traffic, etc.). We have been packing, and on July 26, we will load the rental truck and put the car on the carrier and begin the trek across country. (This is our 28th move in 40 years of marriage, so been there, done that.)
Oh, and I will still serve as Seminary President and teach classes.
So, you may not see me around for a month or more as we move, settle in, and begin a new ministry.

Nice, very nice place. Close to Santa Paula and Ohai at the southern boundry of Tehon Ranch. I've been through there a zillion times and never knew that there was a seminary there! Gosh, one learns something every day. C'mon though, mountians? LOL, foothills maybe. Still, what a wonderful location! Congrats again, agin!
Just when we think we have you all figured out, you up and change your life even more!!
Congratulations and we hope to hear from you soon!
The seminary is wherever we are, since it is all virtual. We have one professor in Maryland and another in Ohio and me in Missouri now to be California.
I thought it was in Fort Wayne.
We have our on-campus students attend CTS. But we also have several throughout the US who are taking seminary courses directly from us.
I helped admit a guy to the ICU today in septic shock. The really sad thing is, he was on the surgery service for a couple days and was discharged because he didn't need surgery - with a documented fever and very high white count, on no antibiotics.
Absolutely ridiculous. I hope they get taken to task.

It wasn't a nursing problem - the nurses were great. So that doesn't only happen within the NHS then.
Do you think things like that are the result of poorly trained staff or is the nurse shortage over-hyped a bit?
I hope the gentleman recovers soon.

Frazier Park is part of Los Padres National Forest. Granted, compared to the Sierra Nevada, yeah, these are foothills. But, we will be living at 5,000 ft (which is more than foothills), near the base of Mt. Pinos (8,847 ft), which is the highest peak in Los Padres. Also in 8 miles it drops about 4,500 ft to get to the Bakersfield floor.
