  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My boyfriend and I are in college. I live at home and he lives on campus. During the summer when were just hanging out (not in a relationship), it wasn't too hard to find things to do. There were parks, walking trails, mini-golf. But now with the strong wind, snow falling and dropping temperature it's hard to find things to do. He's been to my house a few times to watch movies, but that's getting boring.

So what do you do during the winter for fun?

Well, it doesn't get cold all that often down here in Texas but I'll try to help:

Bowling
Indoor swimming pools
Driving around looking at Christmas lights in the town
Play pool
Play in the snow - snow angels, build snowmen, snowball fight
Challenge him in a video game (you'll win him over for sure)
Get all dressed up - go out to dinner and a movie
Go Karts
Make smores in an inside fireplace and sing hymns together
Play board games or cards - always fun!
Cook a meal for him
Go to Barnes and Noble and wander around and read (I can do this for hours)

Thats all I can think of at the moment, hope it helps a little :)
