What I always do to be safe is ALWAYS make sure I have enough money and order stuff that is below what I brought. I also like to just pay my half. That way I don't feel bad.

I kid!I wouldn't care if me and a date went to a fast food restaurant because most of the guys I know can barely afford to feed themselves (plight of the college student) let alone a fancy dinner.
