  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Concerning this salvation, the prohets .....
made careful search and inquiry .....
It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you,
in regard to the things that have now been announced to you ..... (1 Peter 1:10-12)

I write this to those us who are called to pray for the church. The prophets who learned about the salvation in Christ were in fact serving the future generation. So are we. We are serving the pure church that will come down from the heaven. Therefore, let us not lose our heart while we serve the present church with much corruption and blemishes, since we also are.

It is a great privilege to serve the church that we do not see, just as the old time prophets served us whom they didn't see. Even time cannot limit us in being united with the church of glory. Therefore, let us persevere in praying for the church.

God has appointed in the church
first apostles,
second prophets,
third teachers;
then deeds of power,
then gifts of healing,
forms of assistance,
forms of leadership,
various kinds of tongues. (1 Corinth. 12:28)

We are not apostles, nor prophets, nor teachers, nor doers of power, nor healers. We are no-title servants. At best, we are assisters. Therefore, let us not lift our heads above others.

Most of all, let us pray for one another in order not to lose our heart.

Lord, help us persevere in our assignment. Amen.

Rupert

thank you, everything what you are saying doesnt provoke anyone. prayer is faith. i hope you are not closing your eyes on hypocricy which is rampant in states. there are so many buildings and so many church goers. we have to strive not to contribute to the hypocricy. i believe many christians contributing to it without realizing. Billy Graham mentioned many times that most christins are not commited to Him. i believe thats the bottom line of the hypocricy. i am volunteer evangelist and every chance i get i encourage people to devote wholeheartedly commit to HIM. sincerely mrs.wilde

Mrs. Wilde:
Thank you for the reply. I agree that prayer is faith. When I lose sight of Jesus, I fall in disappointment and see no need to pray. When I am back in prayer, I see Jesus more clearly and I do not lose heart as often.

It is the will of the Lord that the church has prophets, teachers, doers of power, healers, and many others. Let us pray the he raises all these servants.

Please pray for me as I am praying for you.

Rupert
