As believers who think the Torah has not been abolished, do we keep the following laws? :

- Do we bind Tefillin on the head according to Deuteronomy 6-8?
- Do we write the greatest commandment on the doorposts and gates of your house according to Deteronomy 6:9?
- Do we discuss the departure from Egypt on the first night of Passover according to Exodus 13-8? We were not there.
- Do we make a parabet for your roof according to Deuteronomy 22-8?
- Do we not allow a practicing witch to live according to Exodus 22-18?
- Do we always remember what Amalek did according to Deuteronomy 25-17? We weren't there.
- How about if your wife dies childless and you have a brother, your wife must not be married to anyone but your brother, would you follow that according to Deuteronomy 25:5?
- Exodus 21:16 says, He who kidnaps a man, whether he sells him or he is found in his possession, shall surely be put to death.
- Exodus 22:16-17 says, if a man seduces a virgin who is not engaged, and lies with her, he must pay a dowry for her to be his wife. If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money equal to the dowry for virgins.
- Deuteronomy 22:23-25 says, if there is a girl who is a virgin engaged to a man, and another man finds her in the city and lies with her, then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city and you shall stone them to death; the girl, because she did not cry out in the city, and the man, because he has violated his neighbor’s wife. Thus you shall purge the evil from among you. But if in the field the man finds the girl who is engaged, and the man forces her and lies with her, then only the man who lies with her shall die.
- Deuteronomy 22:28-29 says, If a man finds a girl who is a virgin, who is not engaged, and seizes her and lies with her and they are discovered, then the man who lay with her shall give to the girl’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall become his wife because he has violated her; he cannot divorce her all his days.
- Deuteronomy 24:5 says, When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out with the army nor be charged with any duty; he shall be free at home one year and shall give happiness to his wife whom he has taken.
- Deuteronomy 25:11-12 says, If two men, a man and his countryman, are struggling together, and the wife of one comes near to deliver her husband from the hand of the one who is striking him, and puts out her hand and seizes his genitals, then you shall cut off her hand; you shall not show pity.
- Leviticus 18:19 says, Also you shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness during her menstrual impurity.

As believers who think the Torah has not been abolished, do we keep the following laws?
Wow! This is a lot to unpack in one sitting. Some of these questions deserve a thread unto themselves; but I'll start off by saying that we can't pick and choose which of Yah's directions are worthy of obedience; unless we are elevating our throne above his.

- Do we bind Tefillin on the head according to Deuteronomy 6-8?
I don't wish to offend my brothers in Yahshua who have found Messiah through Orthodox Judaism. If they wish to reinforce the spiritual nature of remembering the Shema by using a physical aid; then good for them. However the nature of this verse is spiritual. The Torah is spiritual. (Romans 7:14) I don't believe that it's necessary to literally take a pen and write it on your forehead.; anymore than an autopsy would reveal whether or not Christians are in the renewed covenant by whether or not Yah had taken a pen and written his Torah on their hearts. (Heb 10:16 Jer 31:31)

- Do we write the greatest commandment on the doorposts and gates of your house according to Deteronomy 6:9?
Why not? I do. It's a very small thing to do, to remind me who is leading me throughout my day.

I wrote mine in Ancient Hebrew. It's a beautiful addition to my sanctuary.

- Do we discuss the departure from Egypt on the first night of Passover according to Exodus 13-8?
I do.
We were not there.

I was not there for many historical events, including the birth of our Messiah. That does not mean that they are not worthy of discussion; but this discussion is commanded by our Creator.

- Do we make a parabet for your roof according to Deuteronomy 22-8?

Unlike many of the Ancient homes in the Middle East, I don't have a flat roof on my home. I have a pitched roof; so I don't entertain guests on my roof. If I did; then not only would that verse apply to me; but building code would require that I have a rail on that upper deck, for safety reasons. I have a deck on the front of my home. It's only about 2 feet off the ground; but I still have a rail on it for safety reasons. I doubt that someone would die if he fell off of it; but he might get hurt. These are the kinds of steps that we take when the Torah is written on our hearts. In this case, sticking to the letter, and taking the rail off my deck, and putting it on my roof, might not kill, but it could lead to injury. It's important to understand that we can't obey commands that don't apply to us. For example, I don't menstruate; so I can't obey the commands that were given specifically to women. Context is very important.

- Do we not allow a practicing witch to live according to Exodus 22-18?

This command was given to Israel, as a sovereign nation, living together as a community. When this command was given; Yah didn't say to go into other nations; seek out the witches; and kill them. They practiced this in the desert. They practiced this in the land; so long as they remained a sovereign nation. They did not practice this in captivity We do not practice this in diaspora.

We see many examples of obedience to the laws of the Goyim in slavery, in captivity, and in prison. Yah calls us to do our best to abide by the authority of the Goyim, so long as we are in their charge, so long as we are not personally violating Yah's commands.

Again, Yah did not tell us to go into the lands of the Goyim; and kill their witches.

When Israel was a sovereign nation; these witches were to be brought before the judges. Yah does not call us to take the law into our own hands; even if Israel stands in sovereignty.

- Do we always remember what Amalek did according to Deuteronomy 25-17? We weren't there.
You already asked one of these types of questions. We weren't there for 1 Corinthians 11:25; and neither was Paul; but we are still to remember.

Remembering an event does not require having actually been at the event.

- How about if your wife dies childless and you have a brother, your wife must not be married to anyone but your brother, would you follow that according to Deuteronomy 25:5?
How would my wife remarry if she was dead?

All kidding aside, again context is very important. If you back up to verse 19:1; you'll see that this verse is qualified. It applies to Israel while they are in the promised land. I suspect that this has to do with keeping the land that was divided between the tribes, within each tribe.

- Exodus 21:16 says, He who kidnaps a man, whether he sells him or he is found in his possession, shall surely be put to death.
I'm all for justice. I'd like to see this become the law of the land. You'd see kidnapping statistics drop off sharply.

- Exodus 22:16-17 says, if a man seduces a virgin who is not engaged, and lies with her, he must pay a dowry for her to be his wife. If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money equal to the dowry for virgins.
Love it! If we could get our politicians to make this the law of the land; I believe that we would have more successful marriages.

Marriage should be taken seriously. New York very recently decriminalized adultery: https://apnews.com/article/new-york-adultery-law-repealed-81509fdbff222cd3c71765f400b74d2c

If our government followed Yah's law; I suspect that marriage would be taken more seriously.

Again, I think that it's important to take marriage seriously.

- Deuteronomy 25:11-12 says, If two men, a man and his countryman, are struggling together, and the wife of one comes near to deliver her husband from the hand of the one who is striking him, and puts out her hand and seizes his genitals, then you shall cut off her hand; you shall not show pity.
Again Yah is speaking to the sovereign nation, in the promised land; and the woman would be brought before the judges. Again, we don't take the law into our own hands.

- Leviticus 18:19 says, Also you shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness during her menstrual impurity.
Yuck! That one is clearly written on my heart.
