  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

hey eveybody,

please support this new movie "Therese" on the life of a young French girl who fell in love with GOD and developed a deep personal relationship with Jesus which radiated through her. It's kind of a followup to "The Passion" in that she returned love for love. The movie shows how one person can change the world by doing ordinary things with extraordinary love.

if possible try to see it this weekend.. show Hollywood that there is still an audience for deeply Christian films.

just do a google search for Therese movie to see the closest AMC and REGAL theaters its playing.

Has no one else on this forum seen Therese?

I drove up to Pittsburgh today to catch a showing at the Loews Waterfront Cinema. 180-mile round trip, but worth it. My main gripe, if there is one, is that I felt the shots of religious artwork in the Martin home were a little overdone. OK, they're Catholic, and they're devout, we get it!!! Aside from that I thought this was a very good film and worthy of your support.

BTW, through Thursday the film's total gross was $1,117,668...not bad for an independent religious film showing in only 49 theaters. ( Source -- http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=weekend&id=therese.htm ) I think it expanded this weekend -- this was its first weekend in Pittsburgh -- so maybe the take will see a boost when the final numbers are released tomorrow.
