There is plenty of evidence

I didn't know what I was going to dive into when researching the history, I was a little afraid to be honest because many people make these claims trying to discredit Christianity.

I looked deep and was amazed at how well preserved the scriptures are and the manuscripts. I was amazed how documented history supports the Bible. The deeper I learn and the more I learn the stronger my faith becomes. The historical account of Daniel especially is what blew my mind during the time they were under Babylon, and the account of the death and resurrection of Jesus. It just adds to the assurance I can trust the Bible especially since Isreal is planning on building their third temple.

All I can conclude is the people who claim to find evidence against Christianity are just browsing an atheist's blog site and refuse to go deeper.

There are a number of Bible scholars who are convinced that Daniel was written in 168 BC. They have even narrowed it down to the month it was written.

There is indeed a wealth of Christian history. And you are right that it's best to see it for what it is, rather than through the lens of someone seeking to discredit it.

People who approach history with an open mind will find the truth of what you're saying. History most definitely does agree with the Bible. As a matter of fact the Bible is a very reliable source for history all by itself.

The resurrection cannot be explained away. About the only defense against it is to just arbitrarily discredit the authors of the NT for whatever made up reason.

Scrolls have been found that support the book of Daniel and many of the places that God/Israel destroyed in Exodus have been found just where Exodus says they were.

The word of God is so very intricate and inner woven that if we would take 500 of the smartest men in history and give them 50 years together they could not come with up with anything even close to the Bible's message.

That's because it's God's Word to us.

That or they are not prepared to change their way of life if Christianity is shown to be true.

Josh McDowell’s ‘Evidence that demands a verdict’ not only solidified my confidence in biblical authenticity but God’s providence upon it.

I think there are some exciting times ahead with the discovery of new information and artifacts. The technology is allowing people to make more discoveries and we are seeing the Bible being brought back to life.

Here is an interesting video I came across recently that is said to be the first Christian Church in Jerusalem which was suppose to be where James the brother of Jesus and others meet to pray and do baptisms. It has been overlooked and neglected for years as people did not think it was significant and only some locals knew about it because it is hidden away in some back street outside the main tourist area. You can just imagine the early Christians meeting there to avoid being found out by the Romans soon after Christ had left when the Christians were being persecuted.
