I got a question. Why was eves eyes not open first before Adam took of the apple?

Genesis 3:6-7 NKJV

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

Genesis 2:24 "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."

I think it's possible that since the bible says man and wife are "one flesh" that even if Eve's eyes were open to good and evil, she needed for Adam's eyes to be open also for the two of them to realize what was up, that they had sinned and were naked.

Then they hid and covered themselves up.

The bible stating that the eyes of both of them was opened is not simultaneous.Definitely on eating the fruit, Eve eyes were opened and as soon as his husband took of it, his eyes was also opened.

So, the point here is that Eve eyes got opened before Adam eyes did. But the bible had to record that they eyes were both opened irrespective of the time it happened.

Adam was responsible for his wife. In fact, the woman was created for the man (1 Corinthians 11:9), and so the created order began with Adam, which is why Satan didnt approach Adam first. So Satan approached Eve first so he could Adam to sin so their eyes can be opened.

It is also said that the weaker vessel is the woman. The devil will always attack them to get to us. Well maybe not always but we are wrapped in flesh and we would do anything for our wifes
