John 1:1 says, 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
How many people have heard people tell you that you need to read your bible? I'm sure that all of us at one point and time has heard that said to us. But take your bible and cradle it like a baby. Why do that you ask? Because, the Word became flesh. Who's the Word? Jesus. So when you read your bible your reading Jesus. Why is it that scripture says in Hebrews that the Word of God is alive and active sharper than any double edged sword?( Heb 4:12) It is because Jesus is the bible. And Jesus is the Word. And Jesus is ALive!
Now Point 2. If I wrote a book about my life and who I was, and 10,000 people who didn't know me read it; then would you agree that I would get 10,000 different interpretations as to what I meant or was coming from. Now if all those people spent time with me, and then read my book, than would you agree that they would have a better understanding as to what I meant after reading my book. The answer is Yes. Your bible is the exact same way. You see without the Holy Spirit the bible is a closed book. The Holy Spirit is the author of the bible according to (2 Pet 1:20)
therefore without properly knowing the Holy Spirit, how then can you properly interpret the bible?
