The Weekly Goals/Plan Thread

Snowy27 made a pretty successful thread where you post your goals for the day. I don't know about you all, but sometimes I get overwhelmed by all the things I need to get done by the end of the week -- and for me, this week is one of those weeks. So, I've made myself a little schedule for the rest of the week that breaks things down into a daily plan. What I have to do does not seem as intimidating now as it did about an hour ago, before I made the plan. I am going to check off what I've done as I go along. Feel free to post your own plans during troublesome weeks.

I think that maybe posting this where people can see it will help me adhere to the schedule I've made for myself. We'll see.

So here's my plan. I'll put X's beside things in the list after I get them done.


Today:

[X] Study ch. 1-4 in child psych.
[X] Take the exam on ch. 1-4
[X] Work out
[X] Do laundry

Tomorrow:

[X] Read ch. 5
[X] " ch. 6
[X] " ch. 7
[X] Start on my essay for child psych.
[X] Work out

Friday:

[X] Volunteer @ church
[X] Read ch. 3 for adolescent psych
[X] Read ch. 4 for adolescent psych
[X] Do the discussion based on those chapters
[X] Start & hopefully turn in the first of two writing assignments on those chapters


Saturday:

[X] Finish the other writing assignment
[X] Study ch. 1-3
[X] Take the exam on ch. 1-3
[ ] Work out

Sunday:

[ ] Go to church
[ ] Get started on next week's homework early so I don't find myself in this situation again

Well, I just finished the exam I was wanting to take last night -- I spent some extra time studying for it today. I am somewhat behind schedule but the extra studying paid off because I got a 96 on the exam. I'll start my reading tonight.

Well, I got my driving in today. It was another milestone for me because it was the first time I drove to the gym and back at night while alone. I did alright but when I got home all my nervous energy came out in the form of a good cry. That sucked, but I'll keep getting used to this and keep moving forward.

That's great! You should feel proud of yourself. I'm sorry you had a tough time with your nervous energy, though. It sucks when our emotions surprise us like that. Good luck with the rest of your week.

Great job, you'll get more used to it the more you do it. Any progress is wonderful though.
