  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Proverbs 16.jpg

In whispered tones of ancient lore,
A promise stands forevermore.
Through grace and truth, our paths unfold,
With love as our lamp, more precious than gold.

In every breath, let wisdom reign,
A soft refrain amid the pain.
The righteous heart finds joy in strife,
As mercy weaves the thread of life.

When trials press, and fears invade,
In faith, our trust will not be swayed.
For every step in love's embrace,
Leads us to find His boundless grace.

So we choose the way of gentle light,
Where kindess reigns and wrong turns right.
For in His love, our souls may be freed,
To walk in faith, a fulfilling need.

With each new dawn, let our gratitude rise,
And shine like stars in Heaven's skies.
For in His presence, we shall find,

The peace that comes when our hearts align.

This is a poem inspired by the Daily Wisdom Scripture of the Day, (Proverbs 16:6) with the idea that mercy and truth lead to righteousness. Life's challenges test my resolve, yet through love and grace, I find my true path. By embracing kindness and serving others, I align myself with a divine purpose. I aim to reflect faith's light and cultivate a heart that seeks righteousness, walking boldly in His love.
