Has any one else seen this show when they were growing up?I did and love the show so much I bought the 1st season on dvd. my favorite characters were Grandpa and Jim Bob. Yancey was a hoot also.

I love the Waltons, when I was little my mom and I would watch it every night, it was something we did together, and we still watch it together from time to time

I've seen it a few times. It's a really good show. I don't think I get them on any of my channels anymore.

I named my daughter off of an episode that had a little girl named holly on it. She was only on it for one show but thats all it took. Holli (my daughter) is now almost 30

I love it when Grandma geta after Grandpa and calls him Old Fool.

I absolutely LOVE the Waltons. It's probably one of the best all time shows every. It's good clean stuff to watch and I really wish they would put more shows like that and Little House, on the airwaves.

I recently started watching the new Little House on The Prairie because I liked the old series and am already getting hooked on it.

So sign me up as a Waltons fan too. Even my grown sons who are not Christians (yet) love that show.

I read in a magazine that the Waltons have the second seaon on dvd to bad I can't have buy it now since I don't have a dvd player anymore.

I liked the fact that they made mulit-generational family situations look positive. That doesn't happen too much these days.

I love THE WALTONS and if I can find that dvd I'm gooing to get one for myself.

Waltons is my favorite oldie/classic t.v. show. Love all the characters, the settings, story lines. Used to watch it on reruns, but have not found it the past couple years on the cable channels.

It just has a realness to it, country but in a natural way, does not try too hard; maybe it's the acting and writing. Today's shows I think sometimes go overboard and become so dramatic and you do feel you are watching something 'pretend.'
