Does anyone watch The View on ABC? I don't, I watch The Price is Right instead. I ask because I heard on the news that there was a very heated argument on the show Wendesday between Co-Hosts Elizabeth Hassleback and Rosie O' Donnel about the war in Iraq. Apparently Rosie is a liberal and Elizabeth is a conservative. If you want to see, youtube it.

First off, neither woman defended their point very well at all from what I saw. The thing that got me is when Rosie tried to stop the argument and said "I know how the media will respond, big fat lesbian Rosie attacks clean Christian pure Elizabeth."

First off, does anyone know if Elizabeth is really a christian? More importantly, I wondered, can you be conservative, support the Republican party, and still not be a Christian by Jesus's standards?

No, I don't watch the View. I have seen clips of the fight on TV talk shows. As far as I'm concerned, Rosie is an ill-mannered, classless buffoon regardless of her political views. She has been goading Elizabeth from day one and finally Elizabeth stood up to her. And like most bullies, Rosie couldn't take it and stormed to her dressing room, trashed it and her writer was escorted from the building after having defaced photos of Elizabeth around the studio. Now on her blog, Rosie says she doubts she'll ever speak to Elizabeth again. Typical.

I'm not sure what all this has to do with Elizabeth's faith or political views as it relates to Christianity. And I'm not sure I understand your question. It's not up to me to judge anyone elses faith. I'm too busy just trying to be faithful to my own beliefs.

I am a republican, and am fiscally conservitive. I am not a Christian by anyones standards.

I completely agre with your statements. Rosie has bullied Elisabeth from the begining, because of her moral and political views. For someone who wants equal rights she she sure tries to take them away from anyone that doesn't see it her way. I stopped watching the View because of Rosie. Now that she is gone I can enjoy it again.

It scares me how many people think like she does though. She can't even agree that terrorism is evil. She'll say whatever she wants regardless of anyone else's feelings. Just because we have the right to free speech doesn't mean we should blurt out anything we want.

I know what you mean. That's why I was never a View watcher. I'm not sure what the purpose of the show is anyway. I wish they'd get some regular folks I could relate to. Many of these celebs are just over-the-top.
