Myself, I have tried to rewrite John 8:32 a number of times and I have never been able to do so memorably.

Truth will ultimately triumph over lies, is the implication; and so Biblically speaking it will silence liars as per Psalms 63. Any Christian who won't confess particularly private or uncomfortable sins hasn't fully submitted to Yahweh.
